Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The study program focuses on design, modeling and control of the current automotive propulsion system and addresses all major subsystems: engines, transmissions and hybrids (necessary for improving propulsion system efficiency and performance). The curricula starts with two-year basic education, including courses such as mathematics, physics, mechanics, thermotechnics, machine design, etc. The next two years are devoted to design, modeling, and control of the internal combustion engine and key subsystems, such as the valve actuation system, the fuel system, and the ignition system, the principles of the transmission system, the clutch actuation system, transmission dynamics and control, the hybrid powertrain, including the hybrid architecture analysis, the hybrid powertrain model, and energy management strategies, and provides background on the electronic control unit and its functions, and describes the automotive propulsion system diagnosis. Graduates will be able to solve problems specific to automotive propulsion systems and key subsystems, and may find employment with automobile manufacturers, service companies, and engineering firms.
