Mechanical Engineering

The mission of this program of study is to prepare specialists in mechanical engineering, focusing on fields such as construction and maintenance of mechanical structures, machinery and mechanical equipment. 

The general objectives of the subjects that are studied during the four faculty years are:Construction, operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical structures and equipment, but also their design, modernization and development;Optimization of the proper functioning between two repairs; Minimization of the environmental impact of industrial activities;Use of advanced information on the modern technologies;Use of computer simulation operations and computer assisted design; Development of managerial skills for mechanical engineering;

Specific objectives of the study program are:

-Development of skills for safe operation of mechanical systems

-Familiarization with the concepts of maintenance and reliability, but also of management and operation for systems, components and mechanical structures

-Familiarization with the requirements of Romanian and European standards and legislation in the field of mechanical engineering

-Acquisition of knowledge specific to each area addressed in the curriculum
