Primary and Pre-school Teacher Education

The aim of this study program is of educational and research nature, in accordance with the national qualifications framework, being generated by the demands of the labor market and by the important place that the human resources training in the educational field occupied in the contemporary society.
The objectives of the program are as follows:
• Providing initial education and training for the didactic career with the purpose of obtaining the necessary certification for occupying a didactic post in preschool and primary school educational system
• Providing scientific research, both theoretical and applicative, in the Educational Sciences field, in accordance with the exigencies concerning quality in education, with the educational standards and the evolution perspectives of the educational system and sciences, on national and European plan.
• Providing through its components (department, research centers, and student scientific circles) the conditions necessary for the training of specialists in this field with higher education, of postgraduate and doctorate for the society.
• Providing excellence in the act of teaching, in scientific research and education.
