Hydraulic and Pneumatic Machines and Systems

The study program focuses on hydraulic and pneumatic machines and systems including both fundamental and in the field topics. The curricula starts with two-year basic education including courses such as mathematics, physics, descriptive geometry and technical drawing, fluid mechanics, computer based numerical calculus or theoretical mechanics. It continues with two year specialization  including courses such as compressible fluid dynamics, potential flows and hydrodynamics of airfoils cascades, pumps blowers and fans, pumping stations and ventilation systems, fluid power, hydro-power and wind-power plants or hydraulic, pneumatic and  district heating networks. 

The study program aims to offer to the students knowledge related to analytical methods and numerical simulations in order to solve technical problems in the field of hydraulic and pneumatic machines and systems, applying effective multidisciplinary and teamwork techniques on different hierarchical levels within the working team and how to use fundamental and complementary sciences in completing theoretical approaches specific to quality integrated management, in the field of hydraulic and pneumatic machines and systems.
