Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The aim of the "Geomatics and Cartography" master program is the formation and training of graduates in the field of geodetic engineering, which includes the study areas of higher geodesy, photogrammetry and remote sensing, cartography, Geographic Information Systems, monitoring environmental systems. Master's degree program prepares highly qualified specialists, able to manage research on specific theories, concepts and methods, to develop, update and interpret them in new situations encountered in practice. Professional skills provided by the master's program are: performing high-precision geodetic measurements and applying advanced processing methods, sensor technology application in spatial data acquisition, implementing GIS solutions in urban cadastre, 3D spatial modeling, modern mapping techniques, monitoring and probabilistic analysis of environment systems, application of legislative knowledge in creating geoinformation systems.
