Quality Assurance in the Field of Textiles and Leather

The mission of the programme is to form competent specialists in the domain of Quality Assurance and Total Quality Management. Its main objective is to train students for using their knowledge in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Students learn how to evaluate and optimize the quality level, how to develop products' characteristics, how to manage new projects and also how to improve quality of the existing textile processes.
The programme is based on a multidisciplinary approach at both European and international levels by combining disciplines concerning production management, statistical analysis, research strategies, marketing, financial aspects, communication, auditing procedures, and improving quality techniques.
The program works in accordance with the trends in European and international master studies, that is why its graduates can work both in Romanian and international companies.
The main curricular areas refer to: quality assurance of textiles and leather goods; quality management; quality costs; automated monitoring and management of textile processes; auditing of the quality management systems; analysis and value engineering; research strategies; project management; modern systems and equipment for quality assurance in the textile-leather field.
