Advanced Footwear Design and Technology

Romania has a long tradition in manufacturing footwear and leather goods. This outstanding reputation can be kept only if it is based on competitiveness coming from high capacity for innovation. The Master of Advanced Footwear and Leather Goods Technology and Design is a program that is designed to face up the sector's demands for added value products.
It is the only such program in the field of footwear and leather goods in the country and among few in Europe. Our graduates are able to creatively perform engineering tasks concerning the development of new products, technologies and processes in companies or research centres that belong to the leather and footwear sector. They could develop a career in the areas of manufacturing, research, education and academia both in Romania and overseas.  We collaborate closely with manufacturers to create a link between our students and national and international footwear and leather goods industry.
