Ecodesign in Textiles Finishing

"Ecodesign in Textile Finishing" is a specialty which focuses on brand new achievements linked to technical, medical, multifunctional textiles. The program develops the ability of combining the requirements of different applications of textiles to obtain new functionalities at surface level of fibrous
polymers. During their study the students learn specific techniques to modify fabric surface mantaining structural integrity and controlling the behaviour of the final product.
The program aims to:
- open up new ways of understanding multifunctional behaviour of a textile fabric used for medical, technical and severe conditions;
- provide solid training in all areas of chemical, dyeing and printing processing; - offer high level training according with newest achievements taking into consideration the ecological aspects of the textile finishing processes;
- develop both professional and transversal skills facilitating employment in a large range of fields.
