Fenomene geografice de risc și calitatea mediului

The mission of the master program is correlated to the efficiency and lucrativeness characterizing the Romanian geographical teaching:
- enhancing the role of geographers specialized in environmental issues according to the necessities of domestic and international labor markets (both education and research);
- attracting personnel with superior geographical studies in national and multinational institutions working on environmental protection;
- training specialists according the national framework of qualifications.

The objectives of the master program aim to:
- assimilate methods of systemic analysis in order to evaluate the quality of each environmental factor and of the environment in its integrality;
- assimilate theoretical knowledge and practical abilities in the field of environmental management (especially vulnerable environments) aiming for environmental protection as a condition for insuring the security of human communities and their sustainable development;
- train specialists in environmental analyses and expertise (environmental analyst, research assistant in ecology, agriculture and environmental protection, research assistant in geography, environmental auditor).
