Management

The aim of the study programme is to enable graduates to take the right business decision, whether they work in large companies as appointed managers or they run their own business.

The key areas covered are: managerial characteristics of companies in the field of production and services, methods for leading and organizing individuals and groups, building up and implementing logistic and transport systems, strategy-building for companies, market-related knowledge and decisions related to material processes within the company.

Competences earned by students are the following:

• Identification, analysis, and management of elements defining the internal and external environment of organizations;
• Elaboration and implementation of organizational strategies and policies;
• Elaboration and implementation of managerial systems and sub-systems (allocation and re-allocation of resources and activities);
• Identification, selection and utilization of forecasting, organization, coordination, involvement, control and evaluation methods;
• Substantiation, adoption and implementing decisions for organizations of small complexity;
• Utilization of databases, information and knowledge in the application of managerial methods, techniques and procedures.
