Turism și dezvoltare durabilă

The master programme is organized on 4 semesters, the number of subjects studied each semester varying between 4 and 5. The students will acquire the following competences:
General competences
• Acquire scientific values in the field of tourism and sustainable development, according to the interdisciplinarity principle.
• Develop cognitive interests, motivation for effective lifelong learning, starting from initial training to continuous, permanent education, while working in education or research.
• Realize the differences between the concepts and geographical approaches with regard to tourism potential and phenomena.
• Develop skills of intellectual activity, information and documentation, operation, communication based on practical training.
• Apply strategies of effective and responsible work based on the principles, norms and values of the code of professional ethics.
Specific competences
• Establish observable links between natural and social elements.
• Form capacities of analysis and decision regarding sustainable development.
• Apply the norms and values of professional ethics for decision making and achieve certain complex tasks/objectives individually or within a group
