Pastoral Orthodox Theology

The Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Alba Iulia is a centre of theological education and training based on the Apostolic Tradition of the Eastern Church. Being aware of the need for a spiritual experience in all areas of human existence, our faculty encourages a living theology and a dynamic mode of theological argument by which to discover new meanings of the unchanged and unique Truth, in an attempt to render the content of Revelation accessible to contemporary man. In this respect, it plays the role of forming priests and lay theologians for church bodies, but at the same time it has the capability of transmitting a theology school that provides the instruments required for a theological reading of reality and mediation of meeting of the world with the living Christ.
