Methods and Models in Artificial Intelligence

The students will acquire the following competences:
Professional competences
• Knowledge of the main methods and models employed in the development of intelligent software programs
• Development and maintenance of computer applications
• Employment of computational tools within interdisciplinary context
• Employment of software packages within scientific research and research results processing
• Pursuing of interdisciplinary research themes in artificial intelligence, covering
the stages of literature review, elaboration of scientific research project, software implementation, results processing and interpretation and writing of research report
Transversal competences
• The responsible and independent implication in pursuing professional and scientific activities leading to measurable results
• Active participation into laboratory activities that involve workgroups and demonstration of personal initiative within the teamwork
• Employment of all information sources within the learning process, in accordance to the formation requirements for the computer science specialization and awareness of the degree of attaining the preparation objectives of a computer specialist
