Mountain Area Agriculture

The program aims the training of engineers in agricultural, horticulture, animal husbandry, and land exploitation sciences in the hilly and mountainous area.
The program provides a comprehensive background in agricultural technologies and agricultural management applied in hilly and mountainous area. This knowledge is related to the following directions:
- Sustainable agricultural production technologies and the methods of organizing and coordinating the crop production processes;
- Implementation of strategies and specific elements of the EU Agricultural Policies to the particularities of Romanian agricultural production in hilly and mountainous areas;
- Methods for customizing and optimizing technological processes for sustainable agricultural production;
- Expertise of agricultural land in hilly and mountainous areas, management and allocation of funds for agricultural production.
- Providing of advisory and extension services in agriculture;
- Increasing of technical capacity to diagnose problems of farm management in the hilly and mountainous areas.
