Embedded Control Systems

The Master's degree programme Embedded Control Systems is part of the Systems Engineering domain, an interdisciplinary field of science and technology. The programme's mission is to ensure the training of the specialists with Bachelor's degrees in Automation and Applied Informatics, Applied Electronics, Computer Science as well as other related domains in the field of embedded control systems, which provides a fast integration of the Master graduates in the labour market.

Professional competencies:

• Design and use of executives, operating systems and real-time programming techniques for embedded systems.

• Analysis, design and development of data acquisition, processing and monitoring based applications, in a hardware-software integrating manner, by using modern technologies;

• Development of specific applications for embedded control systems used in: automotive, aircraft industry, railway industry, medical information systems, etc.;

• Design, implementation, exploitation and assesment of the embedded control systems performances;

• Use of advanced project management knowledge for the development, maintenance and quality ensurance of embedded systems applications.
