Educational Counselling and Career Development

The mission of the Master programme Educational Counselling and Career Development derives from the need for further training in education sciences and professionalization of school, educational and career counsellors, in a direction of a holistic and flexible vision of the educational act. The mission of the master's programme aims to:

- Design and evaluation of education/career development programmes/projects for different age/training levels and target groups.
- Implementation of educational counselling programmes/projects, psycho-pedagogical and career development assistance.
- The carrying out of evaluative and meta-evaluative studies focused on various target groups characteristics and on human resources management, evaluation and counselling within the field of education.
- Assisting and counselling children, adolescents, youth and adults as to optimize social and professional behaviour
- The management of target groups, educational counselling and career development programmes and processes.
- Teacher counselling on professional and career development.

Transversal competences:

- Increased awareness on the application of the professional deontology principles and norms, based on explicit value options, specific to educational counselling and career development experts.
- Effective cooperation within interdisciplinary working teams, specific to education counselling, management and to human resources development.
- Effective application of lifelong learning methods and techniques as to secure continuing professional development.
