Transport and Traffic Engineering

Professional competencies:
• Applying of fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge for performing engineering calculations, demonstrations and applications, using of engineering soft-wares in activities specific to transport domain.
• Designing of traffic technologies and operative management of traffic on transport infrastructure network, for local, regional or international transport, using a multimodal approach.
• Identifying and designing of solutions for fluid circulation and for avoiding / limitation of network congestion in transport network and terminals
• Substantiation of technical, economic and financial decisions regarding the transport system improvement
Transversal competencies:
• Applying of effective working and relationships techniques in the multidisciplinary team, at different hierarchical levels within the working team, promoting spirit of initiative and creativity.
• Objective and permanent self-assessment for knowledge extension in the field (marked by interdisciplinary), using of modern informational technologies in documentation and learning, in both Romanian language and an international foreign language.
