Finance and Banking

The BA program in Finance and Banking is accredited by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) and its main mission is to train highly competent specialists in Finance and Banking. The main competences acquired by the graduates refer to:
- The proper knowledge, understanding and use of financial concepts, theories, methods and tools;
- Processing and managing financial information and financial statements;
- Acquiring information about financial and banking institutions, stock exchanges, as well as other types of private and public organisations;
- Understanding the process of making financial decisions;
- Analysing the cash flows in private and public organisations;
- Using IT equipment in the development of business and financial operations and transactions specific to private and public organizations.
The graduates of the Finance & Banking specialisation may develop a career in entrepreneurship or may take up any employment in business, e.g. in banking, insurance, national and multinational companies, public institutions, capital market, consulting companies, etc.
