Business Information Systems

The program provides students with dual knowledge in economics and IT, allowing a fast insertion on the labor market. Graduates have competences in the analysis and development of information systems, assessment and modeling of economic phenomena and processes, the adequate use of software office products to solve specific problems, and the development of information applications that use databases, multimedia resources, and client-server/web service architecture. This will allow them to quickly adapt to projects aiming for business-IT alignment or for the development of information systems. Targeted jobs include business analyst, software developer, quality assurance expert, and ERP manager.
