Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The mission of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology is liturgical, didactic and research. The program seeks to provide higher education to the future servants of the Church, as well as to the future teachers of religion in gymnasium and lyceum education. The competences acquired through the participation in the undergraduate orthodox theology program will allow the graduates to be integrated both as priests in the Romanian Orthodox Church as well as professors and scholars. The program is aimed at graduates with a baccalaureate diploma coming from both the theological high schools (theological seminars) and the graduates of all the other secular high schools. Through the undergraduate orthodox pastoral theology program, the future priests and professors are meant to be promoters of church culture, theological sciences and Christian pedagogy in the process of reform in the Romanian society. Through this faculty it assumes the training of specialists in the field of theology, capable of evaluating, preserving and capitalizing on the religious inheritance of the Romanian people in the context of Romania's European integration and globalization.
