ANIMATION

The Master's program in Animation Film is focused on auteur animation film directing. We emphasize the originality of the graphic concept while also providing a comprehensive understanding of the stages and specific aspects of animated film production. Special attention is given to exposing students to the cinematic context in which they will evolve as professionals upon completing their diploma film. To achieve this, we organize a project presentation session at the end of each semester where significant film industry producers participate (UNATC Animation Pitch). The dissertation consists of a written theoretical work and the creation of a short film. Collaborating with colleagues from other departments, students will craft a story with strong visual elements and an emphasis on emotion, prepared to travel to festivals in Romania and other countries, such as Anim'Est, Sarajevo IFF, TIFF, and Diploma.
