Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The Master's in Theatre Pedagogy is addressed to professionals in the field of Theatre and Performing Arts interested in transferring practices and procedures specific to the artistic act in the educational process. The central concept is the Artist Pedagogue, an artist ready to support training workshops based on a pedagogical scenario and to create educational theatre performances with a training role, aimed at young individuals (pre-adolescents and adolescents). The theatre pedagogue prepares to work not only in the educational environment, but also for cultural intervention projects in artistic and cultural institutions, for the education and training of the audience.
The program provides the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach theatre in schools and in the community or to act as a creative artistic consultant in the public and private sector, as well as in other activities that require theatre pedagogy professionals.
The theoretical and practical activity (workshops, book publication, seminars and national and international conferences within the Master's in Theatre Pedagogy) highlighted the benefits that theatre education has in the training of the individual and allowed the introduction of theatre as an optional subject in pre-university education, by developing programmes such as ""Me and the Stage"" (3rd/4th grades), ""Theatre and Us"" (6th/7th grades) and ""Theatre Laboratory"" (10th/11th grades). The team that worked on these programmes consists of professors and students from the UNATC Master's in Theatre Pedagogy.
