Language and Literature - Modern Language and Literature

This full-time study program integrates in the undergraduate field of Language and Literature and has a duration of 3 years (180 ECTS credits). The program offers intellectual development, critical thinking and practical skills of effective communication in Chinese and Romanian / English / French / German. Students get to know the main currents and literary theories, the significant works of Chinese literature and their interference with other cultural spaces, as well as the main models and concepts of theoretical linguistics; they will be able analyze and interpret literary works at a formal level, at the level of content and by reference to the cultural context. Last but not least, the program aims to develop the ability to adapt to specific communication situations, to various modes and styles of communication.

Perspectives after graduation: philologists and research assistants in the field of philology, cultural advisers, translators, interpreters, interpreters of diplomatic relations, literary reviewers, editors, publishers, civil servants.
