The master studies GIS-Assisted Territorial Management and Planning provides an in-depth knowledge in the field of Geography, for the Territorial Planning and its related specializations as well as for the development of research, constituting a compulsory basis for doctoral studies. By its interdisciplinary and practical nature, the study program, under the currently-organized higher education system, provides the possibility of training specialists to be able to integrate optimally on the domestic and international labor market. The theoretical and practical subjects which graduate students go through, according to the curriculum, provides them with a significant amount of accumulated knowledge not only in the sphere of spatial management and planning, but also in other related and complementary areas such as geographic information systems, environmental science, soil sciences, hydrometry, cadastre, regional and local development, sociology, etc., the final effect being to train them in plural subjects.
