Applied Biology in Agriculture

Mission: Training highly qualified specialists, able to apply current biological knowledge in the agricultural sector, as well as related sectors.
Main objectives:

• Explaining and interpreting biological phenomena and processes in various contexts related to the field;
• Using criteria and methods for biological system evaluation in order to identify theoretical or practical-applicative solutions;
• Evaluating ways in which to approach new situations in the field, integrating inter/trans disciplinary concepts and specific methodologies;
• Creative application of quantitative and qualitative methods specific for the activity of professional project elaboration and/or research.
