Animal Science

Study programme in Animal Science is training specialists with a high managerial professionalism and competence, having strong and deep engineering knowledge in the agro-biological sciences and economic areas, which the graduate, holding the engineer title, knows how to use them in a competitive way in order to deliver the highest quality animal products and services.
Our graduates have the required competencies in order to be able to design, organize, manage and guide animal farms and production processes in all farm animal species (cattle, swine, sheep, goats, poultry, rabbits, fur animals) as well as in the field of apiculture, aquaculture, laboratory and leisure animals. Collaterally to these professional competencies our animal science engineer has the mission to teach, inform and educate the new generation of farmers, agricultural producers or other stakeholders regarding the efficiency of animal husbandry.
Furthermore, the animal science engineer has the knowledge and intellectual abilities for scientific research in the field of animal sciences
