Forestry

This Program has a teaching, research and continuing education. The teaching mission is training of specialists with rich theoretical and practical knowledge capable of managing the increasingly complex problems of forest management and exploitation: regeneration of stands, tending operations forest regimes and treatments, reconstruction of inadequate stands, protection of forests, game management, forest planning, wood and non- wood forest products, etc. the training will aim at emphasizing everything that is stable in science and morality, in the profession of forest engineer, but also in probability thinking, based on the principle of uncertainty, considering the forest as natural regenerative capital of society. Teaching-learning-designing will be an investigation, problem-solving, case study, etc., the formative gaining preponderance through a continuous practice of putting students into concrete situations of life.
