Engineering and Management in Food Service and Agri-Tourism

The study program follows as objectives:
• identifying and accessing funds in order to capitalize rural tourism resources;
• training specialists in the field of economic and strategic management of agrotourist farms;
• training specialists able to carry out the activity on rural tourism axis, as well as the specific equipments for rural tourist guest houses;
• training specialists, with skills in the knowledge of techniques and technologies for the development of tourism products, seen as a chain of processes:
- ensuring accommodation in agrotourist farms and rural tourist guest houses;
- culinary production;
- tourist transports;
- investments (new constructions);
- recreation, entertainment;
- specific equipments to rural tourist guest houses.
• substantiating the marketing decisions regarding the tourist product and the promotion activity;
• training through an appropriate psycho-pedagogical training of some teaching staff for specialized pre-university education
