Engineering and Management in Tourism Industry

The study program has as objective:
• training specialists in the designing of tourist services units;
• accessing funds in order to capitalize tourism resources;
• training specialists able to carry out the activity in the field of tourism;
• training specialists in the protection of natural resources, preservation and capitalization of landscaping patrimony;
• training specialists with skills in the knowledge of techniques and technologies for the development of tourism products, seen as a chain of processes:
- ensuring hotel accommodation
- culinary production
- tourist transport and investments (new constructions)
- balneary treatment systems
- recreation and entertainment
- travel agencies
- equipments specific to chains of hotels and restaurants
• substantiating the marketing decisions regarding the tourist product and the promotion activity;
• training through an appropriate psycho-pedagogical training of some teaching staff for specialized pre-university education.
• using different methods and techniques of communication with customers and various tourism service providers.
