Veterinary medicine

The University of Life Sciences "King Mihai I" from Timisoara has the mission:
• to train specialists, who can quickly integrate into a competitive environment, through a great capacity to adapt to competition, change and didactic innovation;
• scientific research in the field of rural development, at the level of contemporary performances, through the realization of scientific projects of great interest and the enrollment of the university in the international circuit of values;
• and consultancy through university extension.
Its social mission, as of all universities in the world, consists in turning the university into a center of educational and service resources offered to the community.
• According to the University Charter, ULST promotes partnership with higher education institutions in the country and abroad, based on the principles of academic freedom, free thinking, political pluralism and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.

The mission of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is to create highly qualified specialists (veterinarians) capable of meeting the requirements of the XXI century veterinary medicine challenges.
