International Relations and European Studies

This undergraduate study programme was designed to combine the need for specialists in this field along with the integration of Romania in the community structure and the desire to preserve the German language and culture in Banat. This specialization is famous not only nationally but also internationally due to its multicultural environment based on the many collaborations with higher education institutions from Germany. At the basis of the creation of this line of study in German language, stands a collaboration project between the West University of Timisoara and the Rectors' Conference held in the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). If you choose to study International Relations and European Studies in German language, you will learn to: - Develop European and international projects; - Use analytical methodologies in International Relations and European Affairs; - Design strategies in the domain of International Relations and European Affairs; - Provide assistance in international negotiations and mediations between various interest groups.
