Primary and Pre-school Teacher Education

Primary and Preschool Education students study in general education applyed to preschool and primary school education.
They acquire the competences - fundamental knowledge, skills and attitudes - covering the main aspects of the instructional process at preschool and primary school level: the teaching, the learning and the assessment aspects for a diversity of children – including those with special educational needs.
Art and music education, Teaching Romanian and Mathematics in primary education, Teaching about the environment, History and geography.
The graduates are prepared to work in the educational system, in preschool educational settings (kindergartens) or to teach in various schools at the primary school level.
Other employment opportunities inside the educational system are:
- educational (school) counselor;
- educational expert;
- referent specialized education;
- educational mentor.
New teaching opportunities are proposed for the future:
- itinerant teacher for preschool and primary school;
- support teacher for preschool and primary school;
- primary school teacher in special schools;
- consultant for early education;
