Hydraulic Engineering and Structures

The program has the mission to prepare the students in the field of Civil Engineering. The first two years combine theoretical with practical studies, so that fundamental professional skills to be formed. In the last two years are provided specific scientific knowledge and managerial skill are developed. These studies are to be able to occupy elite positions in institutions and specialized companies.
The main goal of the program is to train the students to become professionals and to be able to manage integrated water resources with all the necessary aspects: quantity, quality, environmental and social issues. Graduate students can apply for a large number of jobs: project manager, project designers and engineers in building construction, supervisor of the civil engineering buildings, civil engineer consultant, researcher in hydrotechnical constructions.
