Program description

The mission of the Mechanical Engineering programme is to provide graduates with general training in mechanical engineering, in order to be easily assimilated on the labor market, in industrial units, design institutions, research or education, through the competencies offered by the content of the subjects included in the specialized curricula. 

The general objectives of the study programme include:
  • highlighting a profile of the graduate which envisages the development of knowledge, general communication competences and cognitive abilities;
  • forming capacities to apply the theory in situations specific to the institutional and economic environment;
  • forming abilities to carry out work, studies and reports applicable in the professional environment;
  • developing clear management and employee abilities for the graduate’s professional development.
The specific objectives of the programme are:
  • forming abilities for the analysis of the static or dynamic behavior of the resistance structures of mechanical systems by using modern calculus methods;
  • forming abilities for the modeling and simulation of mechanical systems functioning;
  • forming abilities for using optimization methods in mechanical engineering;
