Programs objectives

educates specialists in the field of History and other fields related to history, in accordance with the classifications of occupations, with social changes and in accordance with the Bologna Declaration;
promotes a comprehensive training of students who can be useful for the education system, for scientific research, for cultural activities, media and European integration policies.

Skills

Using appropriately the knowledge on the periodization of history, the main reference works and databases on different ages, processes and historical phenomena;
Interpreting information found in reference works and databases, explaining the main concepts, phenomena and historical processes.
Establishing historical facts based on information from and outside sources.
Defining correctly the main concepts used in historical studies, the major stages and processes in human history, the current state of historiography and the fundamental methods of historical research
Interpreting, comparing and relating data characteristic of the main historical processes and phenomena, as well as of the historiographical approaches related to them.
