Program description

Philisophy as an expression of human consciousness, along with religion, science and art, is an inherent manifestation of human spiritual conduct and university education can not do without cultivating this discipline of the spirit, the foundations of this education having its origin in the philosophical exercise.

Objectives:
  • Mastering and consolidating the system of philosophical categories and concepts in their diachronic perspective, but also in the fundamental fields: ontology, gnoseology, logic, ethics, aesthetics, anthropology, political science, etc.
  • Educating the critical, argumentative, problematic thinking in the spirit of respecting ethics and academic integrity.
Skills:
  • Identifying and applying adequately the theoretical and historical fundamentals of philosophy: presuppositions, principles, values, ethics, ways of thinking and practices.
  • Identifying by critical thinking (logical analysis and evaluation) the strengths and weaknesses of solutions, conclusions or alternative approaches to problems.
  • Highlighting the causes, principles and meanings of human actions, experience and existence.
  • Interhuman and intercultural mediation by identifying, analyzing and solving interpersonal and intercultural problems.
