Food Product Engineering

The program’s mission is to educate specialists for the food industry with technical and/or management skills and abilities specific to mobile, elastic food industries. Initiating a new orientation in the educational process which has an interdisciplinary connection of technological engineering, management and marketing knowledge. Implementing a curriculum according to the needs imposed by the reorganization and development of the food industry, in direct correlation with the nomenclature of specific professions in the EU. The fundamental objective is training all students at the level of European and international requirements, supporting the students’ motivation and meeting their ambitions, ensuring the satisfaction of being European students with international possibilities, ensuring better study conditions and offering support in order to participate in international training programs. Through the proposed general and specialized study disciplines, the aim is to acquire general and specialized knowledge and skills as well as the cognitive skills specific to the profession.
