Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The Power Engineering and Information Technologies study programme is offered by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering as part of the Power Systems domain. Its training area is in power systems engineering, with emphasis on modern power systems operation, control and design. The 8 semesters (4 years) of study are certified by a diploma in power systems engineering, received on the basis of the final examination. The first 5 semesters offer courses for basic power systems engineering training, such as mathematics, physics, computer programming, energy resources, electrical circuits theory, electronics, electrical machines, electrical materials or electrical equipment. The last 3 semesters are dedicated to specialization courses, such as smart grids, computer-aided analysis for power systems, digital control systems, data structures and algorithms, databases in power systems or microprocessors and microcontrollers programming.
