Program description

Programme objectives:

  • To provide students with a solid training in this field by presenting in a unitary way some principles, paradigms and models that allow the data analysis

  • To train specialists who can address and model the difficult industrial problems, to design and implement effective solutions to solve them. Students who will follow this study programme will have the chance to greatly impact the industry and society in general, by a special career in a wide range of fields.

  • Professional modelling for team work as well as interdisciplinary approaches to research and development.

The area of expertise is centered in three main directions: data collection and modelling, data analysis and data visualization, with a strong applicability to different domains: economy and finance, biology, life sciences.
