Program description

This study program is offered to those interested to experience from a cultural point of view, to challenge themselves, to those who are passionate about learning new languages and who are ready to start their academic journey with a study program taught in Romanian language.

The Preparatory Year - Romanian Language Course is a one year study program that has been organized for more than 50 years by the Faculty of Letters of the University of Bucharest. The program follows the structure of an academic year, being divided in two semesters. It starts on October 1st and ends approx. on July 1st.

The program provides language training not only in the study fields offered by our university - humanities, social sciences and exact sciences, but also in medical studies and engineering. Therefore, we welcome both students who will continue their studies in the University of Bucharest or in other higher education institutions.
