Master of Arts programme in Comparative Politics – MCP is the first MA programme fully taught in English at the University of Bucharest. Several generations of successful and influential MCP graduates have found employment with high-profile international organizations, European agencies, multinational companies, major universities, governmental or financial institutions. This graduate study programme of two years (four semesters) consists of 120 ECTS credits and provides in-depth instruction in the fields of comparative and global politics. This programme addresses fundamental issues related to democratization, democratic backsliding, development, technopolitics, climate action and security in Europe, in global perspective and in the context of the New Cold War. MCP is a truly international MA programme based on core values rooted in observance of fundamental human rights and rule of law principles, as well as on trust, respect and responsibility.
