Studii americane

The MA programme in American Studies is an interdisciplinary programme on American culture, with multicultural and transnational approaches. It is a competitive programme at an international level, and it showcases various modules on history, politics, identity, media communication, visual culture, Euro-American relations and lectures offered by US professors. Thus, it pursues the training of experts in response to current demands in Romanian society and recent reforms in education and research, but also to inter- and trans-cultural communication needs in a world marked by phenomena such as post-colonialism, post-communism, informational revolution, globalization, epidemics, new world order and international terrorism, for which the US holds high-ranking decisional power.
