British Cultural Studies

The MA program in British Cultural Studies is a course of studies (taught in English) meant to train future cultural actors for a plethora of professions. MBCS offers them the conceptual and practical tools to understand and intervene in this multicultural world, through a flexible structure of lectures: every semester, the students can choose lectures offered by MA programs from germane domains (history, philosophy, political sciences, journalism, etc.), function of their professional interests. The study methods constitute an interdisciplinary tool-kit, because complex phenomena can be understood only with the help of complex tools: cultural anthropology, imagology, cultural and intellectual history, studies about nationalism, urban studies, post-colonialist and post-communist studies, feminism, history of art, science and religion.
