Medicine

At ULBS, the doctoral studies in the field of Medicine have been organized since 2002. Currently, the field of Medicine is included within the Doctoral School of Medicine. Twelve scientific supervisors are active in the field of Medicine at ULBS, offering a variety of medical specializations such as surgery, haematology, occupational medicine, infectious diseases, neurology, orthopedy, gynaecology, radiology. Among the main objectives of this PhD programme there can be mentioned the training of highly qualified specialists, with advanced knowledge in the field of research, capable of identifying and creatively solving research problems, with competence in writing scientific papers and other academic materials at an advanced level, with expertise in processing data at advanced level. The duration of the doctoral programme for the doctoral field of Medicine is of 4 years, according to the Higher Education Law no. 199/2023.
