Industrial Engineering

At ULBS, the doctoral studies in the field of Industrial Engineering have been organized since 1990. Currently, the field of Industrial Engineering is part of the Doctoral School of Engineering Sciences and Mathematics.  Nine scientific supervisors are active in the field of Industrial Engineering at ULBS. Among the main objectives of this PhD programme there can be mentioned the training of highly qualified specialists, with advanced knowledge in the field of research, capable of identifying and creatively solving research problems, with competence in writing scientific papers and other academic materials at an advanced level, with expertise in processing data at advanced level. The duration of the doctoral programme for the doctoral field of Industrial Engineering is of 4 years, according to the Higher Education Law no. 199/2023.
