The Master's program Islamic Studies: Societies, Cultures, Mentalities is conceived as a multidisciplinary study program, devoted to an area of research that is currently of great interest.

In the areas of Islamic influence, countless populations and civilisations have evolved and established themselves over time, whether Arabic-speaking, Turkish-speaking, Persian-speaking, etc., which have maintained substantial political, historical, commercial and cultural relations and have been subject to multiple interactions, which can still be detected today in their polymorphic appearance.

These relations have resulted in substantial mutual influences and have led to the emergence of a common area of reference which, beyond its linguistic, social and cultural diversity, is distinguished by its own distinctive features and characteristics.

The Master's program Islamic Studies: Societies, Cultures, Mentalities is aimed at all those interested in the complex field of areal studies, with a focus on the Middle East; students can acquire skills that are indispensable for the exercise of professions requiring particular competences in the fields addressed.
