Program description

This professional MA program prepares graduates of different faculties to be able to apply bioinformatics methods to analyze different types of biological data in order to obtain relevant information in the medical field, especially targeting personalized medicine. In this respect, students will learn:

- The main methods that produce biological information, framed in the different branches of molecular biology.
- Information related to molecular pathologies;
- Current issues in medical genetics;
- Computer systems and programming languages used in bioinformatics;
- Bioinformatics methods applied to the areas listed above.
