The basic mission of the MSc complementary interdisciplinary program Ergoengineering in Mechatronics aims to form engineers, doctors, architects, psychologists, sociologists, economists, technicians, inspectors in quality of life, managers, etc. competent in ergonomics through completion of undergraduate studies and development of scientific research skills.
The main objective of the MSc program is to develop specific skills in applied ergoengineering. The students get the following main competences: - Defining of selection criteria among variants within ergonomic context- Knowledge of ergonomic design concepts and relationships with design, simulation and testing- Design and approval of ergonomic documentation- Ergonomic systems design up to the level of management and interfacing.The courses present information in Advanced ergonomics, Human centered design, Human factors, Ergo-therapy, Illumination systems with automated command, Occupational biomechanics, European legislation and standards in ergonomics, Environmental ergonomics, Occupational biometric investigations. A specialist in Ergoengineering is a person whose job is to design and implement ergonomics in industrial and non-industrial application.
