The basic mission of the MSc program in Quality Engineering in Mechatronics and Robotics aims to form engineers with specific skills through advanced studies in areas related to Mechatronics: mechanics, information technology, and electronics.
From scientific standpoint, the program aims to grow researchers, who will bring original contributions to the priority fields of science and technology and who will learn how to continue and deepen their education.The main objective of the MSc program is to develop specific skills in mechatronics engineering. The students get the following main competences: Knowledge in general engineering, Quality management competencies, Skills in analysis and testing, design and quality assurance.The courses present information in Quality Management, CAD, Statistical control in the production process, Product development and project management, Computer aided quality assurance, Mechatronic systems reliability, Quality assurance methods and systems, Automation and robotization of the production workflow, Human-machine interface, PLC and Integrated quality management.A Quality Engineer is a person whose job is to design or improve a production process so that the goods produced are of an intended standard.
