The basic mission of the Master Program "Advanced Materials and Technologies" is to train engineers with the necessary skills to design industrial equipment using advanced materials and technologies with low energy consumption and minimal negative impact on the environment.
The strategic objectives of the Master Program "Advanced Materials and Technologies" are focused on the training of specialists for:
- production and characterization of advanced materials such as composites, amorphous and nano-structured alloys, cellular materials, new polymers and ceramics;
- studying phase transformations and advanced material specific structures;
- design, exploitation and optimization of advanced materials processing technologies;
- use advanced methods of investigation and quality control of advanced materials;
- expertise and technical advice in the field of advanced materials;
- scientific research of advanced materials.
The program gives a good background for specialist working in development of new industrial products, engineering consulting, quality assurance, being a solid base for future PhD studies with topics in advanced materials and modern processing technologies.
